Hello! I currently teach Physical Education at Wheatridge Middle School here in town. I completed my BA in 2014 at Ottawa University, and completed my ME in 2018 at MidAmerica Nazarene University. This will be my first year joining the Blazer volleyball family and I am SO excited! Prior to this position, I was the head volleyball coach at Wheatridge Middle School for two years. I have experience playing volleyball in middle school and high school. I have a passion for this sport and I cannot wait to share it with you all! I am eager to get started, and looking forward to our upcoming season. Go Blazers!
This is my second year as part of the Blazer volleyball family and I can’t wait to see all that we accomplish! I found my way to GEHS after completing my undergraduate courses in English education at The University of Kansas. I’ve been a part of the Blazer family going on four years, but hadn’t yet had the opportunity to get further involved in the school. My background in volleyball comes from my experience on both my middle and high school teams. I loved volleyball while I was in school, and my goal is to spread that joy and passion to my players each and every season. In addition to teaching English at the high school and coaching volleyball, I also help sponsor many other GEHS activities. When I’m not utilizing my time at GEHS and encouraging others to have pride as a Blazer, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, traveling, and completing coursework for my master’s in English at Fort Hays State University.
